Untie the kingdom

A new body of ceramic work confronting the resurgence of far-right ideology in contemporary Britain.

Through reimagined fasces and fractured symbolic forms, the collection examines how extremist narratives move from the margins into mainstream culture. Against a backdrop of algorithmic amplification and online radicalisation, the work considers how young people encounter ideas of exclusion, nationalism and racial division disguised as identity, belonging and community.

By rendering these symbols in fragile ceramic forms, Untie the Kingdom exposes the visual language of fascism that continues to persist, often unnoticed, within contemporary public life.
